Find your next CS 1.6 match
Choose a mode, map or region and tell us what matters most. The Match Finder returns three current options from cached monitoring data — no UDP work runs in your browser.
Popular servers, maps and countries
One click applies a live country, mode or map filter to the catalogue below.
Live Counter-Strike 1.6 server list
Search by server name, IP:PORT, map, mode, country or recent player observation. Sort the live catalogue by JOIN SCORE, activity, response, momentum or 24-hour stability.
Player Radar
Search recent A2S_PLAYER observations by nickname. Results are monitoring samples, not a promise that the player is still connected this second.

How we rank servers — without changing their online
JOIN SCORE is a separate 0–100 join-quality rating driven mainly by the server’s 24-hour and 7-day history: average activity, uptime and stability. Current free slots, monitoring response and data freshness have smaller weights, so one unusually busy hour cannot make a server artificially rank at the top.

How to choose and join a CS 1.6 server
A practical player-first guide to reading 24/32, comparing modes and maps, understanding monitoring response and connecting safely by IP:PORT.
How to choose a server
Start with reported online and free slots, then use JOIN SCORE as a compact ranking signal. Data confidence and freshness show how strongly the current state is verified.
Public, CSDM, Zombie and other modes
Use the mode and map filters to find Public, Classic, CSDM / Deathmatch, Zombie, JailBreak, Surf, AWP, AIM, GunGame and specialist servers.
How to connect by IP:PORT
Copy the server address, open Counter-Strike 1.6, open the console with ~ and enter connect IP:PORT. Monitoring response is measured from our server and is not your personal in-game ping.
connect 203.0.113.25:27015How the CS 1.6 server monitoring works
Discovery finds public server addresses, while background A2S_INFO checks refresh map, reported online, slots and technical state. Public online is never replaced by our Anti-Fake estimate: Honest Activity and JOIN SCORE are separate analytical signals.
Data confidence
Monitoring services can query at different times, use different fallback sources or show older cached values. Check the last update, source and Data Confidence before treating two snapshots as a contradiction.
Honest activity
Honest Activity is a separate ranking signal. It can account for protocol-declared bots and strong repeated non-playing evidence, but the public players/max value remains visible exactly as reported by the server or named source.
Counter-Strike 1.6 server questions
Clear answers about live server data, IP:PORT, maps, modes, JOIN SCORE, player search and monitoring freshness.
01What does 24/32 mean in the live server list?
It is the occupancy reported for the server at the latest usable check: 24 occupied slots out of a maximum of 32. We keep that public value separate from analytical signals such as Honest Activity.
02Is the monitoring response the ping I will see in CS 1.6?
No. Monitoring response is measured from our monitoring node to the game server. Your in-game ping depends on your own ISP, route, location and current network conditions.
03How can I find a server running de_dust2, de_inferno or another map?
Use the Map filter or select a map in Explore Live CS 1.6. The catalogue then returns only currently monitored servers associated with that map.
04How do I filter Public, CSDM, Zombie, JailBreak, AWP or Surf servers?
Choose the required game mode in the Mode filter. The same filter is also available in Match Finder and in the live mode statistics below the catalogue.
05What exactly is JOIN SCORE?
JOIN SCORE is a 0–100 convenience ranking for deciding where to join now. It combines bounded signals such as activity, available slots, monitoring response, 24-hour stability, momentum and data freshness; it does not rewrite the server-reported online.
06What does Honest Activity mean?
Honest Activity is a separate ranking signal. It can account for protocol-declared bots and strong repeated non-playing evidence, but the public players/max value remains visible exactly as reported by the server or named source.
07How fresh is the server list?
Discovery and A2S checks run in bounded background batches. Busy active servers are checked more frequently, while repeatedly offline servers back off. Each record exposes freshness and Data Confidence instead of pretending every row was checked at the same second.
08Why can another monitoring site show a different player count?
Monitoring services can query at different times, use different fallback sources or show older cached values. Check the last update, source and Data Confidence before treating two snapshots as a contradiction.
09How do I find a populated server that still has room?
Set a minimum online value and enable Free slots only, or use Match Finder with Balance priority. This removes empty choices and avoids recommending a completely full server when another strong option has room.
10How can a server enter this monitoring catalogue?
Add or update the public server in GAM1NGCS-MS. Our background discovery can then detect the IP:PORT and begin independent monitoring checks; inclusion is not created by a fake local entry.
Add a CS 1.6 server
Server discovery uses the public GAM1NGCS-MS catalogue. Add or update your server there and it can enter the next discovery cycle.
